If you’ve made a mistake or you simply want to create and effect in Adobe Flash, you can use the eraser tool. It’s over in your toolbox. It’s the picture of the eraser, go ahead and click on that to activate it. And down below, you’re going to get a couple of options.
The first one is your Eraser Mode and you have normal fills lines, selected fills or inside. Let’s got ahead and start with the normal and see how that works. You also have the tip that you could choose, so I’m going to go ahead and select the smaller tip. And I’m going to go and I’m going to fix some of this hair and you just click, and just like any other drawing program. It’s pretty straightforward. You click you drag a little bit to erase. You can always just click and it’s going to erase it a little bit. And it’s a great way to just fix things, pretty straightforward.
You also have a couple of other modes here that you could do. You could choose to your erase fills. I’m going to go ahead and increase my tip size. And if I come over to the shape here, it’s going simply just erase the fill. Okay you can get some neat effects that way, erase the lines. So if I go up here, it’s going to erase just the outline and not the fill. I could do selected fills if I have a fill selected then I could choose just to erase that. I can also do the erase the inside, which works a lot like the fill and it’s going to go ahead and erase the inside.
So that’s how that you can use the erase tool with an Adobe Flash.
