In this video tutorial, we’ll show you how to use your social network and services also known as SNS application.
First, you need to unlock your touch screen by pressing the menu key and then pressing and holding onto the padlock on the screen. Tap the menu tab to open your full menu, scroll down and select SNS which stands for Social Network Service. Select add account. LG’s SNS application will connect you to your three social networks easily. We will set up our Facebook.
Now, type in your Facebook logging credentials including your email address and password. You can use the QWERTY keyboard for speedy typing. Once complete, please select it again. Within seconds, you are connected to your favorite social network ready to message all your friends. Next, we’ll set up our Twitter account. You can now read your friends’ status, updates in Facebook and Twitter way easily in SNS application.
This is an overview of our Facebook profile whereby you can see our news feed, pictures and any friend requests. You can also your photos or other updates from your profile tab. Select friends to begin searching for your Facebook contacts. We are now checking out Shawn’s profile. We can see on his wall and any updates.
Tap your status and then select update to type a new status. With Twitter, you can keep up to date with everybody’s tweets. You can even view tweets with your own tag mentioned and even see direct messages. Straight from the Twitter application on your homepage, you can see all the tweets from all the people that you are following which is a great way to keep in touch and keep up to dates. What’s up in the app reply, you can see if anyone has retweeted or responded to any of your tweets. Check out your profile and you can see your avatar and how many people are following and how many people you are following and you can even gain access to your direct messages of people who have sent you emails on Twitter.
We are now setting our Bebo profile. Just like what you did with Facebook and Twitter, you need to type in your login credentials. Remember, you can always use your QWERTY keyboard for faster messaging and typing. Select Bebo and you’ll be taken straight towards your account. You can now see all the status updates and your profile updates as well. Just like Facebook, we can see an overview of our profile, update our status, view our friends and even send them sea of messages. They got all our Bebo friends whereby selecting any one of them will take use through to their profile.
Did you know that your LG GW620 has a feature called Linkbook? Linkbook allows you to connect your contact book with your contacts and their social networking profiles. Now straight from our phonebook, we can see Andrew’s status, updates and post, call and text message updates. It really is that simple.
