In this section, we’re going to talk about the third eraser tool, the magic eraser. This tool works very similar to the magic wand, except that it erases instead of selecting, or the paint bucket, except that erases instead of filling. For example when I click in this top right corner all the black that is continuous is erased and replaced with transparency.
Very similar to the magic wand and paint bucket. You can de-check the contagious box to erase all pixels of similar color throughout the document. You can also change the tolerance, the higher the tolerance, the greater range of colors will be erased, and the lower the tolerance, the smaller the range. For example, if I lower the tolerance to 10, it leaves a lot of the black areas on the screen because their color range is too small.
You can also cause your erasing to be anti-alias or not and you can change their the opacity. All in all, it’s very similar to the eraser tool just in the fashion of the magic wand or paint bucket.
