Male Speaker: Welcome to the Thehumanmanualonline.com. In this video tutorial we'll show you how to use your phone book. First you need to unlock your keypad by mp3/camera shortcut button twice. Press the right soft key to access your contacts menu then press the okay option, pressing the center of the directional touchpad. You can now see all your names and numbers; from here you can save a new contact. By scrolling up you can choose whether you want the contact to be saved in your phone memory or in your SIM card memory. If you are using the information in the phone memory you can store plenty of contact information including several numbers, email addresses, web addresses and other personal information. You can even choose a special ringtone or add an avatar or picture. We are going to add a Christmas tree to our new contact. To use symbols press and hold the star key in the bottom left of the phone's key pad. We are going to add an at symbol for our email address, you can also do this pressing the one key several times over.
You can set speed dials for your most dialed contacts. Go into speed dials and select an empty space, tap the center of the touchpad and select your contact and press save. To use speed dialing all you need to do is press the corresponding number and dial between one and nine and then press the call key. You can also identify your contacts by placing them in groups, that way you can know who is calling you by the groups selected on the ringtone. You can have one for family and another ringtone for your colleagues. Tick the ones that you wish to have, then press done, press yes to add them out and now these would be added into a group. By selecting setting you can choose how you wish to view your contacts with our without a picture or avatar. We have already selected out picture, let's see what it looks like with just the names.
Finally, you can access your phone book by going to the menu and scrolling to contacts.
