How to Use the Spellbinders Grand Calibur to Make Paper Crafts
Hi, welcome Craftster Quickies where we show you fast, easy and great looking project so you can make in just a matter of minutes. My name is Pam. And today, I'm going to show you to Pam from camera man. Oh, you dog. I didn’t you care.
Let's see what it is. It’s a spellbinder grand caliber. Look at this puppy out and see what it can do. Hey camera man, did you know that the grand caliber is the latest in the spellbinders cutting machines? No? But did you also know that it’s compatible with all spellbinder die templates? No? Well, did you know that it could accept 8 1/2 by 11 paper without even trimming for cutting or embossing? Geez, camera man, no? Well, it can.
Here's the cool thing about spellbinders grand caliber. It only weighs 10 pounds. So you can take it anywhere you want to, but the really cool thing, this little button right here. You’ll turn it. It locks it in place, so it’s not shaking everywhere when you're trying to use it. It also comes with these three different colored plates that tell you how to stock everything as well as an embossing pad. It’s perfect.
You know what goes great with the spellbinder grand caliber machine? The spellbinders grand nestabilities. The grand nestabilities are designed to be used with the grand calibur cutting machine. The cool thing about them is that you can stock them and use them with the regular nestabilities. The larger shapes offer aimless possibilities. You want to know what else is great about the grand calibur machine? You can use it with almost all other major paper cutting dies on the market today. Oh yeah, it’s true.
Now I want to get started and make a project. You want to see? Let's clear it and get going. Now I'm going to make a card from my cute little cameraman and do that, all I really need is my machine, my cutting plates, some paper and my nestabilities. And the really cool thing about them is they come just like that. So you just have to pull it up. The way you do that is just move this to the side, take your base plate A, take your die cuts, set them down on here. The great thing about the grand calibur machine is you can add more than one die cut on the plate. It’s so cool. So you can make a picture frame if you wanted too.
Set the paper down. Grab my white cutting plate. Set that on top and make sure it’s all even. And run it through the machine. All I need to do is just run it through with that. There we go. It came out at the back. Let's see how it turns out. How cool is that? You have a perfect picture frame.
Now what else can I cut? Where are the rest of my dies at? Because it’s bigger, you can add more dies at one time. I've got four. I put my piece of paper down. Take my cutting plate. Put it on top and fit it through the machine. Okay, cameraman, I love you and I love my spellbinders grand calibur machine. Here's a token of my love for you.
From home décor scrapbook pages to ornaments to gift tags, there's something for everyone.
These are just a few of the possibilities that you can make. Once you let your imaginations flow, there is no stopping you or your grand calibur. This is Pam with Crafters Quickies, see you next time.
