How to Warm a Plate Quickly Hey, there! I'm Sunny Anderson in the Food Network Test Kitchens with a holiday quick tip. The holidays are here, your oven is full with dishes to eat, trouble is, you only want to serve it with a hot platter. Well, take some boiling hot water and pour it over the dish you’d like to serve your hot meal on and just before serving, just wipe it off and now you’ve got a hot platter. Now let’s keep your food hot, get some aluminum foil and what you want to do is just tempt all of your food that you want to keep hot, just put it over the top. You barely even have to secure the bottom. It’s amazing the heat this aluminum foil can trap in. And those are my hot tips for the holiday.
