Hi! I'm Celia Kibler from Funfit. Today, we're going to play some warm-up activities so that we can start exercising as a family.
The first warm-up we're going to do, is the wheels on the bus. Some of our kid's favorite songs, use them at home. Bring up new songs, and you can play activities together while you're warming up. You're going to need a scarf for this game. So get a scarf for everybody in your family, and everyone hold one in your hand.
For the wheels of the bus, we're going to start with big round arm circle. So everybody stretch your arms really big, make big round circles and swing your scarfs around for the wheels. Then, we're going to do the wipers on the bus, and the wipers go side-to-side. Can you make your body go side to side with the wipers? Good job. Now we're going to shake in front for the horn, and the horn goes beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep.
Next, we're going to do the mommies and the daddies, and the mommies and daddies say, I love you, and we'll give ourselves a hug, and open, and a hug, and open, and a hug, and open. And then, we're going to do the big wheels on the bus again. So swing your arms round and round, very good. Good job.
Some things I want to tell you before we start our warm-up games, is to always remember to have lots of water around while you're exercising. It's important to drink water whenever you exercise inside or out, but especially if you're outside in the hot sun.
Also, don't forget to make sure the area that you're about to play in is nice and clear of toys and anything else that a child can trip over, or a parent can trip over. So make sure your areas are clear, because we're going to play a running around game after wheels on the bus. Let's get started. Yeh, very good everyone.
