There is a gigantic pile of dishes next to the kitchen sink, apparently I have to do them, and I have also have to do the laundry, which makes absolutely no sense to me, because I only dirtied half of those clothes, and I only dirtied half of those dishes. And you know me, I am drinking my coffee out of paper cups, and I use a French press, and I recycle my grounds as compost. I really don't like doing dishes all that much, which is why they pile up, and I even said, we have got a dishwasher, why don't we just put them in there? She doesn't want to.
No other valid reason other than she doesn't want to. So I am just going at the dishes stack up, and does she gets so annoyed, mind that she doesn't know herself, until she listens. Saying, we have got the dishwasher use it, you know what I am saying? Well Jason and I'll meet in chat room, has the top five ways to make the dish washing fun. Now we don't have a doghouse by the way. This is my doghouse and I am always here, configured. Well, I guess he thinks dish washing can be fun, top five ways here. Number one, turn on the music, okay, I'll give you that. It's amazing what a little music can do. I modify my songs selection by moods. Sometimes I want a quiet reflective atmosphere to allow me to relax and contemplate while I wash. Other times I am energized and upbeat songs are better there to motivate me. Find your songs and turn them up.
Number two, make an assembly line, with one person scraping, one washing, one drying and one putting away. The choice runs smoothly and quickly. Instead of assigning one person to do the dishes on different nights. Round up everyone, and have it done in a fraction of the time. Oh yeah, that would work, except that it's just me, and it's not fun. And yes, I am taking you with me tonight again to do the dishes together. That's my team, is a freaked chat room on the Internet.
Number three, have a conversation. One cup of wine or purposely a boy is using the automatic dishwasher in the evenings. After dinner, dishes have become their time to talk and reflect on the day. It may seem we are to think of reconnecting with someone over a sudsi sink, but it works. Washing dishes can be monstrosity a monotonous chore. The benefit is, that you keep your hands working in rhythm, and while your mind and your mouth go on with something more interesting, potentially, but that's assuming that she wants to talk about the same thing, you want to talk about, and it's usually not the case. If she even wants to talk, or if you don't say something that apparently upsets her, because remember, she is holding the knife.
That's still crusty with last night's dinner. Number four, have a reward. In one friend's family there is no dessert until the dishes are done, and the table is cleared. There is very little complaining about chore now, just a knowledge, that as soon as everyone chips in, there will be desert. Find a way to reward yourself for completing the dishes, and time will fly by. Number five, is not here, because apparently Jason got called away. I say number five, take my suggestion and use disposable stuff. Plastic tableware and paper plate. I do, because that way I don't have to use the dishes. She is holding a knife.
