How to Watch Your YouTube Subscriptions on Your iPhone
Hello and good day Zane Savage fans. Today I bring you a review of an app that has long been waited for. About one month ago, I had enough with the lack of features in the official iPhone Youtube application. Then it hit me, I have access to many great software writers. So I put my plan in the gear and teamed up with geekcolleges.net to create one hell of an application. We call in appropriately Subs. It’s currently a private beta but it’s set to hit the Apple apps store any day now. Subs allows you to view and watch all of your Youtube subscriptions right on you iPhone or for that matter iPod Touch. A long awaited feature that is sure to be a bit hit with all you Youtube fan boys. With that being said, let me show you how the application works. All you do is click Subs which is a little submarine right here and whenever you sign for the first time, they’ll ask you of the More tab. So I’m gonna go ahead and go to the More tab. I’ve used this for a while now, made sure all the bugs are out of it and I don’t have to sign in everytime. That’s one of the features of this. You don’t have to sign in everytime. It remembers your setting. So the first time you sign in, you go to the More tab and all you have to do is enter your user name so Zane Savage, that’s it, no password, no nothing. Your subscriptions are public information, we just ran off that. So click Done and it says |”User name updated. Please allow a few seconds for changes to take effect”, click OK and then you go to Most Recent and it loads up your subscriptions or my subscriptions. Now the cool thing about this is you can add anybody on the More tab, you can put Quiz Perevils ID in there and you can see his subscriptions also. So it’s open to anything, like I said, subscriptions are public information. So let’s watch a video, here you click or tap and it takes you to the video. This is a nice clean way to browse Youtube, and in video search playing, you click Done if you’re done watching it. And the beauty of this is it takes you back to the application. A lot of applications on the App Store require you to move actually away from the application then get back on the application then move away from the application. This keeps you in the application the whole time which is really, really nice. So you can scroll through, find your subscriptions, watch your videos, get caught up in a subscriptions on the go what you can't do on any other Youtube application. This is brand new, this is ground breaking, and nobody else has a service like this. And there’s also History to watch some older subscriptions. Let’s skip over that. Let’s go to Favorites and you can view your actual favorite videos that you have Favorites. So let’s say you favor the Numa Numa Guy and you have a friend you write, I have this video of the Numa Numa Guy but I don’t wanna search Youtube to find it. You just go to this application, click Favorites, if you have a favorite, click play. And believe this is somebody reviewing actually the Subs app that I favorite it on My Channel, right there. It starts playing. And once again, when you’re done, it takes you right back to the application. How nice is that? Also you have the feature to search. You can search through you Youtube’s subscriptions. So let’s say I wanted to find only videos of my subscriptions about the iPhone, click search, oops, click search, type iPhone in there, search, and it will pull out videos only about the iPhone in my subscriptions. So let’s say I wanted to watch this video, you get the point. You play it. It’s right there. Wow! The two videos that I played have the same intro. What a conincidink. But guys, this is the Subs application, it’s created by me and geekcolleges.net.geekcolleges.net has worked their butt off on it and it will be available in the iTunes App Store very, very, very, very, very soon, hopefully this week, any day now actually.
