Host: Okay so there are other things that you sort to like to work with, what about a sippy cup?
Guest: Sippy cups are really not a very good idea, they real encourage basically the same immature pattern that you get with bottle feeding, and when you put valve on it, so we have the nose fill cups, it really can interfere with normal development of learner's skills.
Host: When should you reckon and go in for a bottle or breast, to maybe a regular cup?
Guest: Well, if the child is doing right, you can reckon introducing your regular cup. In meal times, even at nine to ten months, we like to make sure that we are starting to introduce it again, if everything else is going right, at least around fourteen months.
