The properties pane is where you’re going to do the majority of your customizing inside of Dreamweaver. The properties pane is at the bottom of the screen. If you’d like to minimize it, go ahead and click on the arrow beside properties and it’s going to go ahead and minimize it. To maximize it, simply click on the arrow again and it will pop it out. If you do not see the window’s property pane, then you can go ahead and go to window and then click on properties and this is also the way if you’d like to minimize it right there, and then you can also bring it up again like that.
The properties pane, it changes what is in the properties pane as you’re working in your page, so if you select text, then you’re going to have different options available. As if you were to select a picture perhaps and if you’re on a table, you’re going to have some different options, you’ll get different options for text, for images, for tables, for horizontal ruler, for anchors, and then for form objects. This is going to change based on whatever you’re doing.
So whenever you want to change anything, then go ahead and look down in the properties pane and there’s this where you’re likely going to find it.
