How to Wrap Christmas Gifts with a Bandana

A country bandana becomes one of a kind bow. Wrap a package with bandana wrapping paper available at most stores or use a contrasting color of paper. Tear a cloth bandana into one-inch strips. You’ll use part of the strips as a ribbon to wrap the package and the rest to make a bow. Tape or sew the strips together and tape around the box.

Cut the remaining one-inch strips into seven-inch pieces and stack them together. Using the last strip, slide it under the pile in the center and tie it tightly in the middle. Tie it with a square knot, rearrange the strips as needed, fluffing the bow and trimming or pinking the ends as desired. If you desire a stiffer bow, starch and dry the bandana before beginning. Using the same center tie, tie the bow to the package, continue to fluff the bow to desired fullness. Bandanas come in many colors, try making many colors for all the country folks on you list.
