So, I am going to right click and choose to open this with text editor, you do not actually need to browse to it, all you need to do is double click on other programs and it brings a list of other programs and I can scroll down with my notepad and just open it up with notepad.
Okay, so we now have that PHP file, what we want to do is look for a particular bit of code if you read to these instructions what we are looking for is this line here. So, if I copy this, just grab it all and go back to the text pad and say edit, find, paste that in, and then click on find next; you will actually find that line for me. So, it is finding that line. Now, if we go back to the instructions, you will see that what we actually need to do is not to change that line but we need to add this above that line, okay. So, just above that we need to just grab it all and I will take would drag off.
Okay, it highlights all of that copy and go back to the file itself and I am going to put an extra line here and go up and just paste that in. Okay, so paste a new line in there, then I need to go back and find the next bit of instructions which is to go and search for this line. Okay, so again I will copy I will go back to the edit link form file, I will choose, edit find, and I will paste this new bit of code in and say find next but I cannot find it, I will just check what I have done wrong there. Okay, the bit of code we are searching for may vary according to the version of word pressure is on the easiest way to do is actually looking to this bit here so if I just copy this and we will search for that. Let us go back again.
Okay, search for that particular little snipped code instead and it is found down here, so this is the line that I am interested in but what I need to do, again, if you look in the instructions, what we need to do is find do not edit that line but a couple of lines after that we look another line that says tables cell pattern three etc. and after that I need to copy and paste this bit of code here. So, we are going to look through to this just after where we work, let us go back and if we will have a look there is the line that we are interested in and if I go after that put an extra line and paste a bit of code that we just copied.
Okay, so everything is fine. Now, I can save this, so to save it; so you will see why made a copy of this file in case you make any mistakes you can always go back and re-upload the original version. Well, that is what we need to do so we use find and just paste in those bit of codes from the file straight in to where they need to go then we simply FT that software back up to where it needs to go. Okay, so I had just reconnected with my FT software, it logged off, go back to public HTML, find WP admin, and then drag and drop that file across into here; and drop it and it should ask us to override the existing file, so we will, so that is updated.
Now, what I am going to do is to go back to my log where I want the new code to work and I am going to hit refresh here and provided that I have done it correctly we should now have a new option available where we can put in a no follow tag. I will just pull this so that it will always refresh, there we go. My internet is slow just took a second or two to refresh. We now have the PR no follow so I can take the box there and then click on safe changes that link has now been no followed and Google will be happy with that they will not consider me to be selling those links whether I am or not they do not care just whether they think that I am.
