Today, we are going to solve your break problems. Adjusted breaks are going to slow you down. You only need 5 mm Allen key and a 15 mm spanner for this job. If the breaks are rubbing on here, you are going to make life a lot harder for you. So you want to have the break pads far enough away from the rim of the wheel and for the same gaps so that they close at the same time. You want them to touch the rim at the same time, every time you break. So, the 5 mm Allen key in the back of the break, now on cable from the back, and the 15 mm spanner on the flats of the break here. You want to just move both either left or right just to center the break on the rim. Then when you got that, as you like it, just strike, lever, couple of times just to make sure it is okay. Everything is going back to the right place. Hold the body of the breaks still with the spanner. Hey I am going to use spanner, you can use your hand, but that is better with the spanner, holding either tight with the spanner. Just tighten the Allen key with hand .just to make sure everything is very tight.
If the caliper is too far apart, you want to take up the cable. In order to do adjust here for with the 5 mm Allen key undoing the bolt, pulling the cable tight inside and out again. If you like a very sharp break, you have to adjust the spring. Tighten that up, gives a very strong spring. If you like a lighter touch, smaller hands perhaps, undo that bolt the with a very, very small Allen key. This one you probably will not touch very often, okay. Touch the break suggested.
