Hi. This is Znl0901 and I will show you a performance and a tutorial for how to balance a cup on a card.
One thing I would like to mention before I start this video is I have a new website, I am going to give you the link to the website at the end of the video and it is for subscribers only, so it requires a username and password. If you want the username and password, you have to subscribe and then comment me or send me a message through ‘You Tube’. Now let us go on with the video.
Here is the performance for balancing a cup on card.
There you have it, the cup is balanced on the card.
The setup for this trick is very simple. You are going to need two duplicate cards, I use these offer cards since I do not want to mess up my good ones. You need a cup and double stick tape. You are going to put double stick tape on the back of the card or the front, whatever you choose and you are going to stick the other card on top of that one so that it gets lined up with the face, so here is the face. Face and the back, you want stick them together. I do not really stick them.
Now after the cards are stuck together, you might want to pick this flat, the ones with the part does not stuck and fold it back and make then make a tight grease, just like that. And, when you close the flat and then if you have bicycle seals that you can get from the illusionists, I do not think that they are expensive, I am not really sure, I have not checked but you put them on a deck and you will load this card into the pack, then put a seal on the deck and then pull out this card—they will think it is normal and then you can do your trick.
You take the cup and you put in on top. You may want it to fall a couple of times, just drop it like that, just drop it again but do not like obviously drop it like that. Just put it on top, pretend to balance it and drop it, making sure not to expose this part, the flat. The reason why you want to drop it is so that they get convinced that it is actually single card, then on the third time, you are going to put the cup on and you are going to hold the card and push out with your thumb, push out that flat, it is like a kick stand then it would stand right up.
Let me show you the side view. It is going to look like this, that is going to lean back and you have to get it right, hold it still like that and I will show you that one more time.
Cup on top of card, push out the kick stand in and there it is, that is pretty much the whole setup, right there. And that is how to balance a cup on a card.
