Speaker: Recently, 23 high school seniors showed off their Culinary skills to The Art Institute of Dallas, the final stop in the finalists opened the 2007, Best Teen Chef competition. Already local competition winners, these students had practiced and perfected their skills through hours of kitchen time. Each contestant prepared a three-course menu. Students were given the opportunity to give unique touches to their food. All ended setting their creations apart from the others. Everything, from preparation, to cleanliness, temperature, taste and presentation was accounted for in the contestant's final score, calculated by Master Chef. Much like the environment inside a professional kitchen, the energy level was high, as the competitors put the finishing touches on their creation.
