OR! You can just use the same water bottle, fill it to the top (so there is no air in it) and throw it in the fire....it wont melt! and you save yourself all that trouble

How to boil water...

Speaker: Hi, this is Charles Floyd(Ph) with TNT survival. Today on TNT survival I am going to show you how to boil water. Now, what if you don't have the means to boil water. This is one way of boiling water, I am going to show you another way to boil water. You might have seen this on TV where you boil water in a plastic cup and that's what I am going to do right here, but since I don't have a plastic cup, I am going to use a water bottle. I need this stick, the water bottle, some water and my knife. What you do is stick to open there. Now I prick two little holes in the plastic cup, now I am going to put my stick through the holes. Now I am going to pour the water inside the cup. Now I carefully take the cup over to the fire, take it over, make sure it's balanced, I am going to keep there, when it starts to bubble and steam that's when it's boiled. It's starting to get hotter. See, you could see bubbles starting to form and now we are boiling water. This is Charles Floyd(Ph) with TNT survival. Remember, when outdoors, be prepared.
