Boost your Torrent download speeds!
This tutorial will help you achieve blazing fast speeds in your torrent client.
We will first download a Torrent Client. Visit the site www.bitcomet.com. [Demo]
After downloading is done, install it. You will get a similar shortcut. Double-click it. This is your new BitComet Client.
Select ‘preferences’. Leave it as it is. This is an important setting.
For setting it, you first need to precisely determine your upload speed provided by your ISP. For example, say it is 50 kilobytes (not kilobits!). Now, you have to calculate its 80%. Fire up your calculator! [Demo]
Calculation: (50 x 80) / 100, which is equal to 40. Enter it here. Enter 2 here. [Demo]
This should be between 49155-65534 range. Leave it unchecked. Select ‘task’. Choose your default download directory. Make sure these three are checked.
Select ‘connection’. Check all four of these. Enter 50 here. [Demo]
If you have a really fast connection, then try setting this value to 70 or 90. Enter 8 here.
Okay, we are done with the settings! Give your PC a restart now.
The next time you download using your BitComet Client, you will see a sudden boost in your download speed.
