This tutorial will show you how to manage your skeleton files in Plesk. If you have configured this task to display a link in your desktop, you can click it directly from here. Otherwise, click Home to go to the main dashboard.

Skeletons are file structure templates, which are used for fast automatic creation of predefined virtual host content when creating a physical hosting. Skeleton files may contain the following top directories only - httpdocs, httpsdocs, conf, cgi-bin and error_docs.

Browse your hard drive for your skeleton files which should be compressed as either *.tgz or *.zip. Keep in mind *.zip will only work if the server has un-zip software installed.

If you like, you can always revert back to the original default skeleton structure.

That's it!
You are now able to manage your skeleton files in Plesk.
