Today, we are going to learn how to select one color from an image and make the rest grayscale. This is one that we prepared earlier so, let us get started.
So the first thing you want you to do is select a picture and then from that picture, you want to make a duplicate layer from the backgrounds, so, just color whatever you like, that is okay. Then what we want to do next is going to select and then color orange. And water pine is easy if you have for selection preview white mat and then click on, use the eyedrop a toll here to click on the color that you want to keep and it
is a bit easier.
So, just pick a color there and you can play with the fuzziness here just to sort of see how bright and how much color depth you want. Just use a hundred and three for this example. I am just going to hit okay there. Now, while that is selected, what we want to do is select the layer mask key so, if we click this button down here, its say add a layer mask that will protect that part of the layer that we selected.
What we want to do next is select the background and then go into image adjustments and gradient map. Now, if it is good like that color selected, you just hit the down arrow here and you just select the silver one and just thing which selected all of this and then hit okay.
Now, the common problem is that parts of the picture are left with a little bit of red. Now, this is usually around the lips and things like that so I just want to use the eraser tool here and select the background color layer and then we click there and there and that gets rid of this.
So yes, that usually happens around the lips or eyes or things like that, depending on what color you selected. So, that is basically now, I hope that has helped you out and look out for more pre-video tutorials on our website at luv2help.com.
Thanks and goodbye and good luck.
