This tutorial will show you how to manage your FTP accounts in cPanel.
cPanel automatically create FTP accounts for your site. These cannot be deleted. Let's go ahead and create new FTP accounts now.
Create new login and password for the new account. Make the password 6-8 alpha-numeric characters, and it should not include the username.
As you can see cPanel automatically assumes you wish to grant access to a directory of the same name as the username. You can change this if you wish. If you enter just a /, the user will have access to the entire site.
You can specify an account disk space quota limit for this new FTP account.
As you can see, you have successfully created a new FTP account.
You may always return here to create a new FTP account, view the files on an account in a new browser window, edit the disk space quota for the account, change the password of the existing FTP account or delete an account altogether.
You are now able to create an FTP account in cPanel.
