How to disable ads in IE? Ads on any website are annoying, but you can get rid of most of them with ease. Right click the offending ad and copy the hosting domain from its URL. Close the Properties page and go to Internet Security. Switch to the Restricted Sites area and add, and the domain of the ad agency to the list of restricted sites. Close the windows and navigate to a different web page. The ads should be gone!
