How to do a Signature Switch Card Trick
[Demonstration]
This trick can be done by two spectators. Spectator number one is given a completely free selection from the deck. Spectator number two is invited to cut the deck anywhere they choose. The spectator’s chosen card is brought to the top of the deck and placed with other chosen card. Cards are placed back in deck.
Spectator one’s card is removed from deck and spectator signs the face of the card. Signed card is placed aside. Spectator number two’s card is lifted from the deck and spectator signs the back of the card. The two signed cards are placed together.
Spectators are now handed back their signed cards. They are asked to brush the cards together as shown. On inspection, a magical transformation appears to have taken place. Spectator ones signed signature jumped onto spectators two’s card.

Prepare the decks as follows. Place two cards of the same suit and value together a top of deck. The duplicate card should be taken from other identical deck. Bicycle brand cards are being used in this example.
Fan cards and follow spectator one choose any card. Place this card aside. Now perform a card force so that spectator chooses one of the duplicate cards at top of deck. In example we are using a cross cut force. Pack is cut and reassembled in the same order as before it was cut. This leaves spectator with the (duplicate) card. Cards are placed back in pack top three cards in the following order. Duplicate, selected, forced. Now double lift the top two cards. Spectator signs the face of the card. Place double lifted cards back on top of deck and place the top card to one side. Double lift next two cards so that spectator sees the face of their chosen card. Place double lifted cards back on top of the deck and spectator signs the back of top card. Signed card is placed to one side. Spectators are handed their cards face down and asked the magically wave them together. Cards can now be examined to see that both signatures appear to have jumped to one card.
