Sarah: If you’re lucky enough to have a friend that wants to work out with you, here are some exercises Katrina does with me when we’re training.
[Music playing]
Sarah: So, one of my favorite ones is the rear thigh. So could you—I don’t really know what this does but …
Katrina: It’s the rear belts. It’s more fun for you to let go if you’re being mean.
Sarah: Whoa. Thanks. I like this one because it really strengthens your arms and legs and your rear thigh.
Katrina: Now, just quite down and I will let you do the rowing down.
Sarah: Okay.
Katrina: Yes. And this one works on all your costal muscles. Sarah, you are going to like this one as much as the next one, but right now, I’m going to hold that high and you’re just going to do the triceps extensions. So palms towards you.
Sarah: Like this?
Katrina: Okay, yes. Take your elbows in and—no. How many guys have really done this? Take your elbows in and extend down.
Yeah, okay.
Squeeze, squeeze, squeeze.
Okay.
Yeah and then palms up and then bring them straight down.
And now, let’s go to the core twist.
Sarah: Oh. It’s my favorite.
Katrina: All right. Arms straight.
Sarah: I like this one because the mirror gives you a reason to be skinny.
Katrina: All right. Twist that then.
This one works your entire core on the internal and external obliques, the lower back, the lower core. Very good.
Sarah: If you don’t have a partner to do it with, you can always secure somewhere in your house like, if you tie it around a doorknob and make sure that it’s sharp or just have your maid since she’s watching TV and do it during the commercials.
