How to do Horizontal Drilling

This sideways or horizontal drill creates a different perspective for players of all levels while it automatically increases both their interest and fun. It also reinforces the importance and necessity of keeping tennis practices visually stimulating.

In this demonstration, we have a low divider fence but you can also try it with a high fence or no fence at all. Since it breaks down the normal familiar barriers of the court, players' comments include a feeling of increased relaxation and fun as well as lengthening of their shots since the court is slightly longer than normal. Our players are competing with the ball must land in the back court area on each court behind the service lines.
