How to do Lob Volley in Tennis

If you want to throw anyone in deep water, this next exercise will quickly do the trick. Have four players start on the two service lines with two players on each side of the net.

This drill may seem fairly simple, but it is still very effective and has become somewhat of a classic. The player should hit two volleys back and forth and then a lob volley. After that the point is played out.

If everyone's adrenalin doesn't start pumping with this one, take them to a doctor to adjust this exercise for two players, just have them play on the singles half court straight ahead for a fun and exciting variation.

Another variation for two players is to have them play this same exercise, but only cross-court in the deuce court or in the ad court as well, to ensure that the players are working on the execution of all possible shots and angles.
