Lee Hayward: Hello its lee Hayward here from Leehayward.com, and in this video clip I am going to show you how do the reverse grip barbell row using an EZ curl bar. Now the reason I'm using the easy EZ curl bar for this exercise is because it will make it more comfortable on the wrist joints, it will allow you get a better grip on the barbell and then you can really focus all your effort and getting a good contractions through out your legs as you perform the movement.
So here I am doing the reverse grip barbell row with EZ bar, you notice that I take a wide grip on the bar, and my palms are facing forward just the same as I would do if I suppose to do a barbell curl and I am rowing the bar right in to my lower stomach. And here I am demonstrating another variation of the reverse grip EZ bar row, I am using a low pulley cable and the benefit of this exercise is because we are using cables so those concentrations on the muscles at all times and you don't need to bend over as far, so if you have a problems with your lower back then this exercise variation may be more comfortable than the barbell variation.
The next exercise variation that I have here is the EZ bar attachment set up to the lower pulley seated row machine, now most people when they do seated rows they typically use the parallel grip v bar, well by using a easy bar attachment and grabbing it with reverse grip you will get a better contraction throughout the lower lats.
Another great exercise variation that you can do it hit the lats hard, is to attaching EZ bar to the over head pull down state. Now the thing I like about this exercise variation is that it allows you to get better grip on the bar, and it doesn't plays as much strain and twist on the wrist joints. So I fine I can really concentrate and contracting my lats and getting full range of motion as I do the exercise.
