Hi! Today’s video is all about speed walking.
Speed walking is a great exercise for burning fat and toning your body and it is also good for your heart. You can burn about 400 calories by speed walking, but it is not just about the speed. The proper technique is really important. So, I have done some research about the technique and this is what I found out.
First, you want to keep one foot on the ground at all times, otherwise, you are not walking anymore but jogging. Instead of trying for longer steps, try for shorter and quicker strides. The heel of the foot should land first and then you want to roll through and push off.

Bent your arms 90-degrees, keep your elbows close to your body and then swing your arms back and forth naturally.

Stand up straight, chin up and think about walking tall. This should get you started on speed walking. Keep these steps in mind and make sure that you walk fast enough to raise your heart rate.
