How to do a 1-on-1 Ground ball Drill

On the one on one ground ball drill, we will try to incorporate our goalies in the practice everyday. Whether it is in the cage working on ground ball drills, anything that we can do to keep our goalies active and going. So in this case now is going to be throwing at the ground ball we have two lines Casey here in the in the white and Kira here in the Black and we are going for the ground ball. The winner goes to goal offensively playing until we could try to get a goal to defense is the person is not get the ground ball.

All right! Ready? Go, working on the ground ball Kira picks up the ground ball cleanly and then we go to goal one versus one. We incorporate a lot of different things into this drill, from obviously the ground ball being initial attention. But also we worked on our dodging skills. We worked on one on one defense and we worked on shooting skills. Then most importantly, we worked on our goalies on a really high percentage shots for our attacking defense going one by one the entire time.

So it is a great job to work on that. Couple more one versus one just you see if we do it, as you can see it. Our player is going to be very, very good using with the right and the left hand when they go to goal and it is very easy to switch, it is very natural to them try to switch and go it away.
