How to do a Butterfly Setting Drill

In this drill we are actually just doing a lot of overhead passing. It is really focusing on the serve receive with overhead passing. What we want the girls to do is either do a simulated serve or just a throw to your partner over here. Her partner is going to receive the pass by overhead passing it, she is going to pass to herself two or three times, and then pass back to her partner. So it looks something like this, just get a lot of repetition in. She is going to set, set, and set, and then set to her partner. Come back, do it again, set, here, set, set yourself, set to her partner. They will do it three times and then rotate, like that, now they rotate. Now the person will come over here, again, doing their approach while they are running, throw high, here, set, set, set to your partner, and that is a butterfly setting drill.
