Hello, lovely if you are a subscriber and YouTube visitor, today were going to do this Christmas look for the contest from Make Up Geek TV. I used some old gold pigment with the spiced chocolate black and I hope you liked it. Hopefully this will help you picking out a look for Christmas and if you want to know how I did this look keep on watching.
Okay, to start off this nice Christmas look you need to apply a base, I already used my Basing Shades Stick by MAC. And first step in this look is to act a dark base to really make that old gold pigment pause so what I'm going to do is take some black ground paint pot of the sample of it. And what I'm going to do is grab a brush I'm getting that on the brush I’m going to apply this on my lids staying under that crease.
Okay, and to really make that black base, blacker then black take an even smaller brush like this and get that black ground paint pot on the brush and really make that lid black. I really want that to be the blackest of all. Okay what trying now going to do is take your old gold pigment by Mac. So you're taking a stiff shader brush I'm using my 239 by Mac, you can see that and your going in that pigment, go in it just go in it and you have just this tiny amount.
Okay, then you’re going to take that lid, that comes in that pigment. Put that brush on that little lid it comes with. And now this is the amount of the brush. Now you're going to put it in the lid like this, really get it in that brush, really pick it in the brush grab some more product really pack it on that brush, tip of any excess. And now put that eye on your lid using patting motion in this way you won’t get any fall out at all.
So grab some more and put it on your lid. And that green color is amazing, okay were right now going to take is our Costal Scents 88 Trimmer Palate, were getting this color we’re putting this color on that one. Were putting that color on so get that on your 217 and put this in your crease, in your crease and then pull it down in here.
Okay, so when you have applied that brown color from the Costal Scent Palate you're going to take a copper burgundy color, burgundy red color. I’m using sweet chestnut by the color of cherry collection. And grab that on your 217 just a tiny bit and just a little bit in the crease. So that gives it bit of a red tone to those look and green and red is great.
So that’s why, okay, we’ve done that and grab that old gold pigment again and grab some more pigment because I got the feeling that green has faded away quite a bit, so get that on your brush just like in the previous step pat it on that brush. Reapply it to the lid staying under that crease. Okay, now it’s time to add our highlight and because we have so much shimmer on the lid I’m going to for a Mac highlight, the one I’m using is from my Costal Scents Mac original palate and I’m using let me take a look this color. This one, that one and grab that onto 39 or anywhere brush you prefer. Or using your highlight and applying that to highest point of your eyebrow and then sweep it down.
And if you’ve got the feeling you add to much of a highlight go back in that burgundy color sweet chestnut and reapply that a bit so that’s nice and vibrant again. So right clean that’s just some team brush up really well and grab your shimmer palate, grab your shimmer palate from Costal Scents again this color, that one. So were using the third color down, got that on your 217 and then apply on the inner core lids. Okay, that’s it for the upper lid, now were going to do our lower lid. Were going to use the burgundy color from the coat again, get that on a round crisp brush. And apply this on the lower lid going half way in.
Then work your shimmer palate by Costal Scents and get that brown color we used in the first step, in the first crease step. And put that on top of the burgundy color and now all you need to do is grab that highlight color we used in our inner corners and apply that on the remaining space of the lower lid. Thicker, like that, so I'm now going to do is add some black tract fluid line using this sign eyeliner brush. Then I’m going to be on some mascara using Reynolds’s Glenn Eyes Mascara. And then I will be back to tell you how to finish this Christmas contest look.
So to finish off this look, were going to use a nice nude lipstick, you can use a red lipstick since it is for Christmas but I like nude better on me. So I'm using the Gosh lipstick and number 134 it’s Darling. Okay, then I’m going to take Essence Lip Gloss in number 6 toffee and put it on my lips. Of course and that’s it.
So thanks for watching me at You Tube and I hope this helped locate and picking out a Christmas look for Christmas and I hope you like it and stay tuned for more videos, thanks.
