Hi! Today, I am going to practice three exercises that work my arms, shoulders and back, abs and obliques, and finally, my legs and glutes.
Think of it as a mini workout set that works your whole body. I like it because it is simple and it works everything.
This first exercise works your arms, shoulders and back, and it is very simple move. So, you just put your arms over your head like this and then you go down with your arms to 90-degrees, you hold, and then you go down even more, hold, and then back up. And, you will repeat this exercise until you feel some burn in your muscles.
[Demonstration]
This exercise works your abs and your obliques. This is the starting position, you lock your hands together, push them out in front of you, and then you rotate your knees to the left side, and your upper body to the right side, and push your right elbow back until you feel the pull in your obliques.
[Demonstration]
This last exercise is for your legs and for your glutes. So, you extend your arms into the side, and then bring one leg up in front of you, hold, and then rotate to the side, hold, and rotate to the back and then, do the same thing to the other leg. And, this exercise is actually really good for your balance as well.
[Demonstration]
And, you will again repeat as many times as you need to feel burn in your muscles.
I am using these weights, but you can use just the weight of your own leg as resistance.
[Demonstration]
I am going to repeat this whole routine a couple more times and I will see you next time on BodyRock.tv.
