Once again, we are going through the progressions of the grip. We just finished the fundamentals of the right hand grip. Now, we are going to add the left hand grip and I like to aim at the top right hand corner of the back board and make sure once again it is the exact same drill with the one hand only now, since it is a longer shot, a higher shot, requires a little more energy and a little more balance and we allow the left hand to got onto it. Once again, we might start with the left hand on the side of the ball making that shot just like this, if we find we are having trouble getting that rotation on each shot, then we allow the shooter to put the hand underneath making sure that before we start to shoot baskets that we have a great rotation, a consistent rotation every single time.
