Asalaam everyone! This is Danica. Today, I’m going to do a quick false eyelash tutorial. So, first I’ll start by getting our false eye lashes which are all natural hair and I would begin by rolling out the lash with my thumb instead of pulling out each strand, you won’t pull out the hairs this way. So again, continue to roll this out. Perfect.
Now, you have a full face of make up on you; you have your eye liner, you have your mascara and you want to do a quick measurement. Make sure that this will line up for you. So, start at the very end of your eye. Place the lash here and continue to work in and that looks like it should be about fine.
So, I’m going to start by applying a Duo waterproof glue using a very, very thin strip. The less glue you have, the more natural it looks and I like to use the Duo dark glue because not only is that waterproof but it dries very natural.
So, I will wave it back and forth in the air for maybe like 30 seconds or a little bit under and this helps the glue to become almost tacky so once it touches the eye area, it dries down really quickly and your lash will not slip inside, so, so, waving it around. Okay, so I think we’re ready to apply it.
Some people prefer to use tweezers and place it on this way. I find it easier for myself to just use my fingers and focus on one area of the eye so I always focus on the outer edge of the eye. So, make sure that my lash is nice and secure for the end and then I’ll work towards the middle so you’re not focusing on getting that entire lash on.
And notice that I’m just grabbing the outer edge of the lashes so I’m not actually grabbing that end with the lashes attach. So again, just pressing in, press, press, press and your glue should dry pretty quickly. It takes maybe like less than 30 seconds again to have your glue dry totally.
And just to blend my lash with the false lashes, I’ll go back. I probably wait a little bit longer for it to dry but the sake of this tutorial—I’m going to curl my lash along with the false lash, okay. Grab my Chanel Inimitable and I’ll blend in my lashes with the false lash. And you don’t need a lot of mascara for this because your goal is to not have too much amount of mascara.
So, as you can see that the huge difference between the eye with no false lash and the eye with the lash, it’s a huge difference. I recommend it for everybody that’s getting married, every bride. Anybody that’s going to a special occasion, it makes a big difference.
There you are. There’s our quick tutorial.
