Let us take a look at a take off drill where we have four linemen in a really good athletic stance. A command by the coach will get them to start. We are looking for getting explosive movement off the line of scrimmage. Really good angles, flat back, really pushing off that back foot to get a really quick reactive start. This is good for offensive or defensive linemen and we call it a take off drill.
