I just wanted to do a real quick tutorial on doing track back really good power linking tactic. You can see here that I have my browser window open to my WordPress Administrator. If you do not use WordPress which you should but if you do not you had to figure out where to put track back you are else in your posting area. Yourself, but all of these are pretty much the same.
Basically, with a track back is a remote comment on someone else’s blogs and the first thing that I do is I pretty much know in my mitch now where to go to find good places to get Trackback and do remote comments but if you just starting out you might want to check that out. You can go to Google and do your key word, your top key word for your Mitch minus blog marketing and the word track back. You will pull up as you see here all the different blogs that have Trackbacks turned on or enabled.
They do not have Trackbacks enabled and we do not to use this tactic so the reason that we do Trackback is we get contents on our blogs out of it. We get to write in comment on it and instead of just putting all the content only on the person’s blog that you find, the one that we are going to be commenting on today is build a better blog at buildabetterblog.com. I get to have content as well as they get to have new content.
I get the comment instead of showing up down here on the comments field I am also going to have a post on mine basically looks like this and as soon as I am done I will have a post to you and a new content which we always need constantly for our blogs.
So, how do we do Trackbacks? At Google I found a topic that I wanted to do and for your check out and do a comment. I already had Trackbacks enabled and that is so they ended up on build a better blog.
I like this article that they did Link Love not for CC’s so what I have done before this video is I went into my editor at my blog and did a comment. It is not really that long just a short post and the etiquette here is to link directly to the place that you are commenting on. Otherwise, they probably not going to accept your or you have a harder time getting your Trackback accepted.
Number two is to be meaningful. Do not do this just to cheat the system it is not worth it. You are going to be wasting your time and they will never going to approve your Trackback. Trackbacks are not automatic they have to go to the editors attention and if they think that it is worthy of being of being on their site they will approve it so you have to make it worthy of being on their site. Therefore it has to be on topic and relevant and as interesting as you can make it.
So, I already did the post here. I already did the title of post they link to them in my post. Now, I have also done my tags down here and what I want to do on my other tags is in where pressed down here towards something called Trackbacks. It sends Trackbacks too so I am going to go to business blogs, know the better business blog or build the better blog and I am already on their Permalink, this is their main page for this post. This is not in their category area you are going to click on Permalink and you typically find something like this Trackback you are owe for this entry.
Okay, that is what I want here. I have already link to the post itself with its abnormal URL. Now, I want to put the Trackback entry, Trackback URL into my post here. What is going to happen is this especial URL is going to ping on how to build a better blog or buildabetterblog.com. It is going to ping them and it is going to email them and say “Hey, somebody is done a Trackback on Link Love not for CC’s. Do you want to check it out and approve it?” In there administration area, they are going to see this text. They are going to say “Okay, this sounds good hopefully and we like this guy what he is going to say. He’s complimentary about what we wrote, he’s appreciative and all that.” Which I truly am and I am not doing this as a gimmick. This is how the traffic report really gets a lot of traffic by appreciating other blogs in my market.
So, everything is set that is all you really have to do is find the Trackback URL in places that you want to do comments. Do a post about them, link to the post itself that you are commenting on and make sure that the Trackback URL is down here.
Once you have done all that, everything set up just like you normally post in the right category and everything it published. Right now, what is happening along everything else that happens on the back in. I am pinging everything out there in the world but I am also pinging how to build a better blog and they are going to wake up in the morning and see a neat, exciting email that all bloggers like to see. You have received the Trackback.
Now, it does not always turn out that when you get that email it is something good, some people spam and it is something that you have to go delete but we always check that email. That is an email that is like in level of importance have you just made a sale because you get really excited when you get those emails because if you did not make a sale but you are going to make a lot more sales you are going to get a lot more traffic because somebody hopefully prominent who has a lot of traffic that the very best thing it can happen to you in the bloggers for you to get Trackback by somebody who is the biggest invest in gets the most traffic in your market. So, there is always that little twin who Trackback me who did this. I want to know what they said and that is one of the first emails bloggers always check.
So, that is a real big insider secret only because there are so many people who do not understand this tactic as a marketing tactic for blogging. In my market a lot of people do not understand blogging and what is the importance of it is to marketers.
