Hey, right now I am about to be teaching you a card trick, that is pretty amazing. You can do it anywhere at anytime with any deck.
You just shuffle the cards, just so, they do not think its all set-up, then, you want to take three cards and you ask them to pick card 1, 2, or 3. Now, let us say someone picked card 1, okay. I closed the deck and then I put card 1 in the middle which was a five. Yes, five of spades or clubs.
Now I am going to shuffle the deck. And when I shuffle the deck, their card appears on top. And now, I am going to show you how I did that.
Okay, first you can really use any deck. You want to shuffle the deck and then you take the top three cards—does not matter what they are. We take the top three cards, and you are going to put a card behind them. You take the top three cards and you put a card behind them.
See? That is how it supposed to look and then you are going to say, “Pick card 1, 2, or 3.”
Let us say they picked card 3. You say, “Okay,” when you close it, you say, “Okay, I am going to put card 1 into the center of the deck and card 2 into the center of the deck. Now, when you place card 3, they think it is their card but it is really some of a random card that was just on top because you had that one card above it.
Now, this is really their card the whole time on top. So, you use pretty much fake shuffling. When you shuffle the deck, you always leave this pile on top because it is always there. So when you closed it, and then their card appears on top and that is how you do that trick.
