How to do the Abductor Stretch

This third exercise directs our attention to the outer thigh or adductor muscles.

Now our player lies on his back with the left leg on the floor and right leg is straight out with the stretch out strap around the arch of his foot. The player brings the right leg across the opposite leg by contracting the inner thigh muscles and the strap. The player then pushes his foot back, towards the muscle outside but resist the movement with the strap for about six seconds.

Then the player pulls the foot further across using the inner thigh muscles and strap together and now holds this static stretch for a total of ten seconds. He then repeats this procedure from the new stretch position two to three more times.
