Hey guys it is RenRen, back to you again for another tutorial on one of my viewer request. This tutorial is to show you the basic of eye shadow blending. So I am going to do a look which is really easy—no makeup, because I’m actually on my way to meet my friends because we have a little club meeting that we do every month but this look is—it is just going to be all green.
My suggestion when you blend is to—it is easy if you stay and this similar color family. So here is my green pallet, so I am going start step by step to show you how to blend eye shadows together. So, what you want to do is start out with an eye shadow base. I am using Vero pink pat and I am using this pink pat because it has a green color and it is going to go with the look I am doing I am just going to use to use my finger and I applied it up to the crease and it just enhances the color.
So, step one is to apply a base. Now step two I am going to do a color here in the inner third, middle third, outer V, and I am going to do a highlight color. So the best way to of course to start applying eye shadow that is to use a brush like dip this right here that are so similar it is like an actual 39 it is just like a dome shape natural paintbrush with dainty pack bristles and this is how I apply the eye shadows to lid and then I go ahead and blend them later.
So, the first step is I am going to apply the lightest color and here is my inspiration on my hand to my inner third of my eye right here. So, I am just going to take the brush and pat it into the first color which is sour lemon and make sure to get enough so that it covers the bristles in the grip. The best way is to kind a pat it on. Try to achieve the most color impact so you pat it on to the first third. Just like that, okay, this is going to be also a bright green look.
Next I am going to apply the middle color, right here, which is lime, which I Mac pro color and I am going to use the other side of brush, flip it over and I am going to apply it to the middle of my eyelid doing the same thing, I am just packing it on, okay. And now that I have done the inner third of the eyelid, up to the crease, in this where your crease would be right here, where you see the indent, and also where the top of your eyeball is. So, that is the basic term in eye shadow blending your crease. So, I am applying my inner third and make eyelid up to the crease make sure to leave this part blank because this is where you are going to put a highlight color which is going to leave your eye to be more open and it is just going to be brighten everything up. So I have done these two and let’s finish off by creating an outer V shape.
And what I mean by that is basically by doing an outer V, it is a way to make your eyes seem more contoured, more opened, more shape. So I am really going to take a brush which is a Mac 219 and use my darkest color which is newly minted and I am going to draw a V shape right here. See how it is really a V. Now, I am going to fill it in up to where the mild colors ad you can see that usually what you would want to do with eye shadow basics is to starts with the lightest color and by covering it and go to the darkest color at the end.
So, now that I have these together, what I am going to do is blend the colors. So, the best way to blend is to blend form the lightest color into the darkest color so I am just going to start in the middle between the transitions in kind of desk wiggle it down. And these kind of blended really easily because they are very similar. I just wiggle it down like that until there is no harsh line.
If you need to, you can apply some more eye shadow. I will take for example the darker color or the lighter color, either one, and just kind of like push it over into the other color. So, now with the darker color, I am going to do the same thing and kind of wiggle it down until there is no harsh line. Some times, you can kind a push it over, see that how it soften? I am going to pile a little bit more of the newly minted. Blend it into it a little bit, so the key to eye shadow blending is
