Take the hands to the hips, let us keep doing this. Start down. Sway the hips from side to side very slowly. Not in the figure eight anymore unless you are feeling advanced. Keep that focal point and then stare down. Get a little creep of a smile. We know something. We know how good we feel. That is what we are showing this person that we are dancing for. Whether it is God, it is always God or a lover of friends or whoever it is. Whatever we are performing for let them know you got a secret of how good you feel. Show them how good you are feeling. Take the arms up across and behind your neck. Bring the hands around to the front of the chest, through the center of your breast and down to the belly and to the pelvis. And again, arms up, take them around your neck. Feel your neck and your hair. Go down to the center, to the chest around the breast and down to the sides of the hips all the way down to the thighs and the knees. Bring them up the back side, to the sides and release one arm at a time, very slowly, leading with the wrist here, lifting one wrist up at a time out to the side like a snake but the head get into it, the Egyptian. That the shoulders get into it.
Now let the head sway, knees bend, one knee at a time, really letting the body go. Trying to have no control and yet being contrast of what we are trying to portray, joy, love, sensuality, and freedom. Take the hands to the hips, look through your eyebrows towards your focal point. Come back to that sway, it is like I am in charge right now, this is my moment. Use your moment for what you want. Take one arm around and follow it with the head, and then the other.
Step back, I am going to teach you a little walk here. Get to the heart center and breathe into the heart and let us start swaying and slink here moving the hips and then opening one foot out. Step forward. Let the arms sway in whatever way that they want to, organically moving in whatever way your heart leads you to. Walking back and forward a little bit, getting a little roll of the shoulders, stop and pause. Put that coyness into the facial gestures, the facial features, and keep walking towards your focal pint. You can even stop here, stop right in front of your focal point and do the hip sway, pushing it out and right in front. You do not even have to take a step in this walk. It is a standing-walking movement as well. Just allow yourself to be slinky and walking forward and back a few times, the knees coming out. All the movement is in the hips.
Slowing down the sway of the hips, straightening out the legs, grounding the feet. We are going to ground here at the end of our session. Take the feet a little bit more than hip distance apart, hands to the sides. Take the right hand to your heart, left hand on top. Close your eyes, reach through the top of your head towards the heavens and your tailbone and feet wooding into the earth, breath into the space. What do you desire to hear most from your lover, husband. Father, mother, pick one person and hear them saying it to you. Hear it clearly. What do you desire most?
Open your eyes and say it out loud to yourself right now. Love yourself first. Have compassion for yourself first. Forgive yourself first.
NAMASTE.
