[Music Playing]
So, let us begin our drum solo choreography, with our weight on the left, right to appoint it, right to hip lifted. And when I say left it, I mean lift it into the ribcage, so the ribcage is straight and the hip is tucked in here.
Hands in the hair, and we are going to ultimate dropping and kicking. So we are going to drop the hip, lift, and then brush with the foot or kick left.
Drop, lift, kick, lift, drop, lift, kick, lift,
We do that four times. After the fourth time, the hands come out of the hair. Step slightly to the side on the right, and we are going to do a figure 8 as we put our weight on to the right.
A figure 8 -- as we catch up with the left, another figure 8, and then a lock, and here is the lock.
I am going to keep a lift in my chest and just pull in on my lower abdominals while I tucked my pelvis underneath me. Notice my knees bend slightly.
You have to pull it on the lower abdominals and notice that my spine which is curved into relaxed position is now rounded through the lock.
So again from here, drop and kick, drop and kick, drop and kick, drop and kick,
Step to the right, figure 8, figure 8, figure 8, locked to the left,
Figure 8, figure 8, figure 8, lock,
Figure 8, figure 8, figure 8, figure 8, lock,
Figure 8, figure 8, figure 8, lock. Then, the right foot in so the legs are together,
We are going to pivot a little bit so we are going to diagonal to the audience, and now we are going to do an omi,
Omi, omi, omi, reverse camel up, camel down.
Let me break down the Omi really quick. If I want my hip to go to the right, I am going to bend the left knee. If I want my hips to come forward, I am going to straight in both knees and lean the pelvis forward.
If I want my hip to go to the left, I am going to bend the right knee. And if I want my hips to go to the back, I am going to both knees and come out of tucked, so I have this curve in the spine.
And that is an Omi. Right, front, left, back, right, front, left, back,
If you smooth that out, remember to keep your feet your knees and ankles together, and there is an omi.
So, after the last figure 8, figure 8, figure 8, lock, feet together,
Omi, omi, omi, roll up, chest down, pivot, diagonal the other direction,
Omi, omi, omi, roll up, roll down, pivot again this time arms up,
Omi, omi, omi, omi, roll up, roll down, last one pivot,
Omi, omi, omi, roll up, roll down,
And in this position, our left hip is facing the audience diagonally. All we do is drop one arm and now we have these diagonal arms. I am going to point the left toe so my hip is lifted, and I am going to drop, one, two, and on the third time, I am going to bend this supporting leg.
So it is, one, two, pleae, and when I straight in the supporting leg, I am going to bring the left leg to the back, and switch so that I can repeat this on the other side, let us try it.
Drop, drop, pleae, switch legs and arms, point the right toe, drop, drop, pleae, switch, drop, drop, pleae, switch last one, drop, drop, pleae, switch.
And when this right legs comes back, do not put the weight on the back. Keep the weight on the left because we going to bring that right foot forward again. We are going to layer a shimmy over it for a right foot forward, right foot back, right foot forward, right foot back, right foot forward, right foot back, last one, right foot forward, right foot, back.
And that is part one. Stand this position because part two will begin in this position. Let us review part one again.
Hands in the hair, drop and kick, drop and kick, drop and kick, drop and kick,
Twist-twist-twist lock, figure 8, figure 8, figure 8 lock, figure 8, figure 8, figure 8 lock, figure 8, figure 8, figure 8 lock,
Omi, omi, omi, roll up, roll down,
Omi, omi, omi, roll up, roll down, arms up,
Omi, omi, omi, roll up, roll down, last one,
Omi, omi, omi, roll up, roll down and,
Drop and drop and pleae, switch, drop and drop, pleae,
Switch, drop and drop, pleae, switch, drop and drop, pleae, switch,
Right foot forward, right foot back,
Right foot forward, right foot back,
Right foot forward, right foot back, last one,
Right foot forward, right foot back, good!
Now we are ready to move on to part two.
