Kids are very elbow dependent and we want them to become more aware of their wrist action in their pitch. The Throw-max is a tool that changes them instantly. On a follow through for example, we do not want the real tight looking short arm, what we call the sticky ribs. We want kids instead to learn to bend the wrist not the elbow when they are here and our jump pitchers also who use the throw-max, to get some of that elbow out of the pitch.
Alright putting it on, center it, on the crook of the elbow. Center it down pretty good, and we will have her to throw the fast ball, alright. Let's just do our stationary. So instead of, a lot of beginners do want a tight looking follow through or sometimes they are taught that follow through are that touches the shoulder, that teaches too much elbow, you are going to see Kacy with a nice elongated relaxed looking follow throw. We also call the follow through elbow release, we snap, release the ball, and release the elbow from the side, very hard to get beginners to do this some times. Alright, two fast balls Kacy. Nice long follow through in line with your target, there you go, we like elbows in line with our target.
