Here is a defensive drill where we have the players running, coaches sometimes called this the figure eight drill where the player is running around or making figure eights around the cones in different directions. The player wants to stay low through the cuts and some coaches have them touch the cone, some coaches just having to stay low.
Right here, we have multiple players going at the same time. Good coaching points here would be the stay low, direct plant your speed into the ground, stay low, really working hard in and out of the break, it is a great way to warm up also it is a great way to have players change direction correctly.
