How to do the Hamstring Stretch

Let's begin the PNF portion of this stretching section with the hamstring exercise. Here will see the player lying on his back with his right leg on the floor and left leg straight up in the air. He has placed the stretch out strap around the arch of his left foot and hold the other end in his hands. He begins by pressing his back foot towards the floor while pulling in the opposite direction with the stretch out strap. After about six seconds the player pulls the foot towards his head using the quadriceps or opposite leg muscles and stretch out strap together. He then holds this stretch for another 10 seconds before repeating it from the new stretch position two to three more times.
