How to do the Hip Extension with Heel Flick Drill

Our next drill is Hip Extension with Heel Flick. At the conclusion of the hip extension segment of the pendulum drill, without pausing, immediately drive the knee forward quickly and powerfully, allowing the knee to bend. Make sure that the knee bend during recovery is a passive relaxed process and results from the forward knee drive. As the knee drives forward, the foot should not follow immediately. Feel the foot being pulled upward by the forward movement of the upper leg.
