Pretty cool! Well, for people who are just learning how to do double sticks, you’re going to drop and off a lot. And one of the things I learned how to do very quickly was apply the old club kick-up to the double sticks. Save me a lot of bending over.
Once again, what you want to do is put the sticks to a sort of coming out a little bit. I raised my toe. I turned my leg a little bit so that I’ll feel the stick hitting my ankle in the outside part of my foot. And I simply reach back and I try to kick my heel to my butt. And that will get the stick going. It’ll get caught and start spinning like so.
Once again, I dropped it. I’ll simply just roll it to my foot, pick it up and I’m ready to go. Alright, I’m feeling it here, outside part of my foot. Kick-up—ready to go.
