How to do the Leader's Basic Footwork in the Lindy Hop

Hi! I am Tracy Egan and today we are learning the original swing dance the Lindy Hop. We just learned the followers basic steps and now we are going to learn the leaders basic steps.
So, I am going to turn around so you can view me. I am going to start rocking back on the left foot, so send your left foot back and you want to shift your weight back front back front, make sure you pick up both feet where we are going go rock step step step rock step, step step 1 2 3 4 5 6, 1 2 3 4 5 6Another thing that you want to keep in mind is keep your steps small to keep them right underneath, you dont want to take huge steps either side or backward. You can also do it with a triple-step, so its the same thing but we are going to triple-step to the side. So, its rock step step and step step and step rock step triplestep triplestep rock step triplestep triple step 1 2 3... And 4 5 and 6..., 1 2 3 and 4 5 and 6... So, that's the leaders basic steps and now we have learned the followers steps and the leaders steps so we are going to put it together in the next clip.
