To really help your skills learning how to manual is going to set you up for a whole bunch of different tricks. The idea of a manual it is really cool when you are riding in powder because it is going to get the nose your board out of the snow. Then you know then you keep floating on it not fast.
Those are the first half of doing an Ollie. The idea is once you get the nose of the board out of the snow. You really want to be balancing on the tail, and pull that nose out of the snow as high as he can.
You might go over once or twice that is all about learning how your board feels. The idea is once you manual, hold it for a little while, just put it back down and ride away.
