So, when you get into doing grab off your jumps. It is really important to focus where you are going to be in the air and not where you are taking off from. Because you are riding up to the jump and riding off to the jump, you want to be looking a head passing. The lift is not going to help you after you ridden by it. So, it is really important to keep looking forward it is going to help your balance.
Now, as you are coming off the jump, you are going to feel the transition of the jump and that is why how are you going to know the timing when you are going to be ollieing, snapping off the tail, your board to get more air.
The idea with snapping and ollieing like that because it is going to make your body like a bit of a slinky, so if you snap off hard your feet they are going to come up to your body in the air really easily and then it is easy to grab your board.
Once you grab your board then you can just cranky with your feet, pull it out in front of you through a cross bow method, pull it out behind you for old school method or just grab it and keep it underneath for a nice classic mellow.
Once you reach the apex of your air that is when its going to be the easiest, the really twit out your grab, once this start falling in you want to be looking far down the landing because you are going to land with some speed and the farther you look the more balance you are going to be.
What you want to do is use your feet the match to the landing. Well, if it is a nice dip landing you might have to adjust it so that both of your feet go down at the same time. You are going to have match smooth ride.
