How to do the Quadriceps Stretch

This next stretch for the quads can be performed in either a standing or lying down position as shown here. The player begins by lying on his stomach with the stretch out strap around his left foot and the right leg extended on the ground. The strap is pulled over the right shoulder with both hands to pull the left foot towards the back of the athlete's pants. He now attempts to straighten the left leg but resists that movement with the strap for a total of six seconds. Then he pulls the foot further using the hamstring muscle and strap together and then holds this static stretch for ten more seconds, and again repeats this procedure from the new stretch position two to three more times.
